Walk Score now takes the Bus (or Subway)

by Robert

Our friends at Walk Score did it again. The boys in Washington are always thinking of ways to make life better for all of us. The latest enhancement is adding transit to the Walk Score product. We incorporated Walk Score in our product a long time ago, read about it here, and the feedback from our clients has been great. Now every time somebody looks for a home using our mapping IDX product dsSearchAgent not only will they be able to search by Walk Score, see how walk-able the area is, they will also be able to see how close the public transit in the area as it relates to the home.

There has been a few other great post about this written recently check out what Drew Meyers from Zillow wrote on Geek Estate also check out “Walk Score Adds Transit” by Clark Williams-Derry

Love the walk score integration. When is the DS brandable iPhone app coming? What a great marketing tool for your customers. I have to think that your developers would be drooling over this one.

This is off topic, but when will DS offer the ability for site visitors to enter in an address and search for a property that way??

  3. Julian Price says:

Ryan I agree we need an iphone app.
